1. Test for intermittent condition
Turn the ignition on, with the scan tool erase DTC. Turn the ignition off, operate the RKE transmitter in all positions several times. Turn the ignition on, with the scan tool, read DTC.

YES, go to and perform the appropriate procedure diagnostic.
NO, the conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. This DTC is set when the vehicle is parked in a location that is affected by external environmental conditions. Suggest to the customer that they park in a slightly different location from where the RKE was inoperative.
