B220D code - With the ignition on, the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) on board disgnostics continuously performs internal circuit tests. set condition this DTC will set if the ORC identifies an out of range internal circuit.
Possible causes :
- Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC)
Diagnostic test B220D code
Replace Occupant Resrtaint Controller
Turn the ignition off, disconnect the 12 volt battery and wait two minutes before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
If the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) is dropped at any time, it must be replaced. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
Repair : Replace the ORC, perform the Airbag system verification.
